  1. Open Facebook App: Open the Facebook app on your mobile device or go to the Facebook website on your computer.

  2. Create a Post: Tap on the “What’s on your mind?” section on mobile, or the “Create Post” button on desktop.

  3. Select “Live Video”: Look for the option to “Go Live” or “Live Video.” On mobile, this is usually represented by a camera icon. Click on it.

  4. Set Up Your Live Video: Before going live, you can choose your privacy settings (who can see your live video), add a description, and tag friends if you want.

  5. Check Your Camera and Microphone: Make sure your camera and microphone are enabled and working properly. You can do this by tapping on the camera and microphone icons.

  6. Add Filters or Effects (Optional): Facebook allows you to add filters, effects, or frames to your live video before starting. You can explore these options if you wish.

  7. Start Your Live Video: Once you’re ready, tap the “Start Live Video” button to begin broadcasting. On desktop, you might have to click “Go Live” or a similar button.

  8. Interact with Viewers: During your live broadcast, viewers can leave comments, react, and ask questions. You can respond to their comments and engage with your audience in real-time.

  9. End Your Live Video: When you’re ready to finish your broadcast, tap the “Finish” button on mobile or click “End Live Video” on desktop. Facebook will then prompt you to confirm that you want to end the live video.

  10. Save or Share Your Video: After ending your live video, you’ll have the option to save it to your camera roll (on mobile) or share it to your timeline or page (on desktop).
